Innsbruck Christmas Markets – When and Where
By day, the sparkling lights of Innsbruck; in the evening, peace and quiet, pool and sauna in Fulpmes: in about 20 minutes you are in the heart of Innsbruck’s mountain Christmas with its seven Christmas markets. The three markets in the centre are just a few minutes’ walk apart.
- Old Town in front of the Golden Roof: the oldest and largest market, daily 11 am–9 pm (13 Nov–23 Dec).
- Marktplatz on the Inn: carousel and Swarovski crystal tree, daily 11 am–9 pm (13 Nov–23 Dec).
- Maria-Theresien-Straße: the modern market with a view of the Nordkette, daily 11 am–9 pm (25 Nov–6 Jan).
- Hungerburg: high above the city with panoramic views, Mon–Fri 1–7 pm, Sat–Sun 12–7 pm (20 Nov–6 Jan).
- Bergisel: a quiet atmosphere, Fri 2–8 pm, Sat–Sun 11 am–8 pm, also open on 7 and 8 December (13 Nov–20 Dec).
Plus the small markets in St. Nikolaus and on Wiltener Platzl, open daily from 4 pm. And afterwards? Back to Fulpmes for a swim in the pool, a sauna session or a winter walk in the Stubai Valley.

What began in 1978 with the pioneering spirit of Grandma Hedwig and Grandpa Otto and was shaped by Karl and Elisabeth into a modern apart hotel with 14 apartments and 1 double room , we now continue with genuine warmth across 3 generations: the freedom of a holiday apartment combined with fine hotel comfort.
